Overview
The SEW 890PR is a non-contact phase sequence and rotation tester designed for fast, safe, and hassle-free testing of three-phase systems. Using inductive clips, the 890PR allows users to detect phase sequence and rotation simply by clamping onto insulated cables—no need to expose live terminals.
Ideal for checking both clockwise and counterclockwise phase rotation, the 890PR also detects open phases, making it a versatile tool for electricians and technicians working with AC systems. Visual indicators (flashing LEDs) and audible alerts make it easy to confirm phase status at a glance, even in noisy or low-light environments.
Designed for convenience, the 890PR includes a brightness switch for improved visibility and magnetic backing for hands-free operation on metal panels. It supports a wide voltage detection range from 70V AC to 1000V AC, works with conductors from 1 to 35mm, and operates across a 45Hz to 65Hz frequency range.
