Metrel A 1507 3-Phase Active Switch Adaptor

The A 1507 3-Phase Active Switch is a smart accessory for automating 3-phase electrical safety testing. Designed for use with the Metrel InstalTest XC and InstalTest XD, it works seamlessly with the testers’ Auto Sequences to streamline multi-phase testing.

Traditionally, testing 3-phase systems requires multiple leads, crocodile clips, or manual phase-by-phase testing—often making the process time-consuming and complex. The A 1507 eliminates this hassle by combining all necessary connections into one unit, controlled via a single connection to the tester.

Featuring five banana socket outputs (L1, L2, L3, PE, and N), the A 1507 connects directly to 3-phase circuits. Its built-in, Bluetooth-controlled motorised switchgear enables automatic phase switching during testing, reducing the need for manual intervention.

The A 1507 supports a wide range of test functions, including:

• Voltage and 3-phase sequence
• Insulation resistance
• Continuity of protective conductor
• Earth resistance
• N–PE resistance
• RCD testing
• Loop and line impedance
