Advanced systems offer more automation, customisation and asset-management features. They can remember previously tested appliances, store test histories and make repeat testing much faster.
They’re a good choice when you want:
- Faster, more efficient retesting
- Custom test sequences and inspections
- More detailed asset records
- Greater testing and reporting flexibility
- Multiple communication options
The trade-off is that they generally cost more and require additional training and familiarity.
So, which is simpler?
That depends on the user.
A basic system is simpler to learn and harder to get wrong. An advanced system can make the overall job simpler - but only once the user understands how to operate and manage it properly.
