This enhanced Metrel MI-3155 kit expands the capability of the Instaltest XD by including a TTScan-2D CCD barcode scanner, 500 pre-printed sequential barcodes, and 100 switchboard inspection tags, delivering a complete solution for structured installation testing, circuit identification, and long-term retest management.

Enhanced Identification & Mapping Workflow

The supplied sequential barcodes can be applied directly to RCDs, circuits, or distribution components prior to testing. During testing, the TTScan-2D scans each barcode and the MI-3155 automatically records the asset reference into its extensive internal memory. This process allows you to build a fully mapped installation structure, ensuring traceability for every device, circuit, and switchboard within the installation.

For retesting, simply scan the existing barcode and the MI-3155 instantly recalls all stored information relating to that RCD or circuit—greatly improving retesting speed, accuracy, and compliance documentation.

The kit includes 100 switchboard inspection labels for documenting and recording switchboard-level inspection data. Additional sequential barcodes and switchboard labels are available separately.

All results—including the installation structure, asset references, circuit notes, and switchboard records—are downloaded to the included ES Manager PRO software. The MI-3155 also supports programming of the installation structure from the PC and allows full customisation of Auto-Sequence test routines.
