Trisan S8 3-Phase Kit

The Trisan S8 is a high quality appliance tester offering rapid testing of single phase appliances and RCD's. This robust and compact unit has a proven track record and delivers safe and thorough testing of a range of appliances. Housed in a genuine Pelican case and built on a metal frame, this robust unit can withstand harsh environments. Battery operation provides portability and mains allow leakage testing up to 20A. Built in adaptors for fig.8 and IEC C6 adaptors add to to the versatility of this unit. The secondary outlet socket provides a fixed earth for leakage testing and a low resistance return path for double insulated leakage testing is also provided.

The factory fitted 3-phase adaptors provide earth continiuty and leakage testing of appliances (run tests) for 20A and 32A 5 pin 3 phase appliances. Results are provided by the tester directly. 4 pin variants are available on request.

This pack now also includes TPI adaptors allowing the optional testing of earth continuity and insulation. This provides a method of also testing extension leads to the 1MOhm threshold. Please note that this does not facilitate the testing of polarity.

Optional RCD testing adaptors are available providing 20A 5 pin and 32A 5 pin connections (CATII only).
