Overview:
The Metrel 3309BT is a highly popular appliance tester due to its great capabilities combined with extensive upgrade options.
This package combines the popular tester along with accessories providing 3-phase testing of equipment and leads. Choose pre-programmed tests
from the Simple Test menu to carry out test sequences on single phase Class 1, Class 2 and extension leads. The Metrel 3309 has integrated basic recording features allows recording of 1500 results prior to download to the included PC software. Recording capability can be enhanced with optional Android tablet software (not included).
In this pack 3-phase equipment can be tested using test sequences combined with the current clamp and adaptor leads.
Point to point accessories allow testing of earth continuity and insulation whilst the included adaptors provide testing for current leakage
in accordance with AS/NZ3760 for both appliances and extension leads. The standard leads supplied allow connection to 20A and 32A 5 pin sockets. 4 pin
adaptors are available on request.
Optional RCD testing adaptors are available providing 20A 5 pin and 32A 5 pin connections (CATII only).
Note: For the testing of 3-phase appliances, we strongly recommend technicians have attended a test and tag course covering the methods and principles of 3-phase differential testing or have suitable knowledge, skills and experience in order to be deemed competent.
